Goshen Community Schools Celebrates 2025-26 Rising RedHawk Award Winners

Goshen Community Schools is proud to recognize the recipients of the 2026 Rising RedHawk Award, an honor celebrating students who have demonstrated exceptional personal growth, perseverance, and determination throughout their educational journey.

Selected by school principals and staff members, the Rising RedHawk Award recognizes students who have shown meaningful progress in areas such as academics, behavior, attendance, leadership, character, and overall development. Rather than focusing solely on achievement, the award highlights students who have overcome challenges, embraced growth opportunities, and made a positive impact within their school communities.

“One of the most meaningful parts of education is watching students grow into confident, resilient, and compassionate young people,” said Superintendent Jim DuBois. “The Rising RedHawk Award celebrates students who have shown perseverance and determination throughout their journey. We are incredibly proud of each of these students and the example they set for others.”

• Liam Centeno Lopez – Waterford Elementary (4th Grade)
• Oliver Calderon Reyes – West Goshen Elementary (4th Grade)
• Xiomara Lopez Sanchez – Goshen Intermediate School (6th Grade)
• Angel Herrera – Goshen Junior High School (8th Grade)
• Corbin Rowe – Goshen Alternative Program (12th Grade)
• Dyashia Myers – Goshen High School (12th Grade)
