One More Chance Gospel Stage Play Brings a Powerful Story of Faith, Healing, and Redemption to the Stage
One More Chance, a compelling Gospel stage play, brings an emotional and inspiring story of resilience, faith, and second chances to life. Centered on Tawana, a young woman fighting to escape an abusive relationship for the second time, the production follows her deeply personal journey toward healing, restored faith, and renewed self-worth.
Through the unwavering love of her family, the support of her church community, and moments of humor, reflection, and truth, Tawana begins to reclaim her purpose. One More Chance is a heartfelt exploration of what it means to trust God again after brokenness—and to believe that restoration is still possible.
The play unfolds across nine powerful scenes, taking audiences from spirited worship services at Taking It Back Bapticostal Church to intimate family conversations and soul-searching therapy sessions. Blending drama with laughter and authentic emotion, the production delivers a message that resonates with audiences of all ages and backgrounds.
Featuring a dynamic cast of influential characters—including devoted family members, church leaders, friends, and confidants—One More Chance adds depth, humor, and hope to Tawana’s transformation. Together, these characters help illustrate the strength found in community, faith, and perseverance.
